Thanks for clearing that up![]()
Blake - I'm interested in what you come up with for the top. I've been debating about some way to pull the top up to the top of my garage for storage. Then when I need to put it back on; I back under it and lower it back down. As for now, it is sitting in the bed of my old truck.
I'm just going to use a system of pulleys and a hand winch to get it raised up. Since I have storage space for it I'm just going to raise it up enough to drive out from under it, then lower it back down to the ground. Not sure I would trust it just hanging there. But I've seen Jeep guys do it with their hard tops.
Yes I am and yes I did, but some dipshit will read that and think they have a unibody like a Jeep jk...
My friend had a rack built behind his house that he could back up to and just slide the top of his blazer onto. It worked real good.
I call bullshit. But I like the idea. It would be alot easier than a pully/rope system and wouldn't loose any valuable space indoors.
It's the roof, its supposed to be outside..![]()

I would make sure and strap it down. I would hate to see what is or isn't left of it after a good thunderstorm flips it across the neighborhood. Otherwise I'm thinking this one over.
Haha alright man, when is the engine swap happening? and I can wire weld for yall if ya want.
Shooting for late August.
