I had a great time today. I am impressed how capable a stock Tacoma is. I took a bunch of pictures and I think I have some of everyone at all of the obstacles. I just uploaded some of the better pics. If anyone wants some high res pics I can send them to your email.
Brian had a very small amount of carnage right off the bat. The infamous trailer light plug got smashed into little pieces.

Thought this was picture worthy. None of us tried this but someone in the past did not have good luck.

I will work on getting more in photobucket. The pics are 18 mega pixels and it takes forever for photobucket to resize them while loading them. Does anyone know a faster way to upload the pics and resize at the same time? Like Picasso or something? This way I can dump them in photobucket a little faster.

I like using this no frills resizer. http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/ just don't forget to resize and make copies, else you resize the originals...

It looks Picasso is resizing pretty quick. I will try to get the album uploaded to share soon but I have a busy day and it may be tonight before it's up.

No problem. I would of had the link a lot earlier but it has been a busy day. Family b-day party, clean house, clean truck and car seat installed in wife's car can fill up a day. I have the high resolution pics if you want any sent to your email.

I piked up a new 7 pin connector (looks like oe) for $5 at local electronics shop.

Do like Keith (and others) and put the 7 pin in one of the rear license plate light holes

What Drew said, they have them at Walmart for $15-30 all day. install only requires you to drill 4 mall hole for bolts.

I wanted to avoid dusting off the soldering iron, but I'll cry all the way to the bank over it. Actually I'm just going to leave it disconnected until I have a reason to put it back on.. I don't tow and only use the receiver for a bike rack.

make sure you keep the wires away from each other. they are hot and will short out against each other.
