Finally actually made some progress after fighting with some wiring issues.
But the front end is assembled and ready to go minus diff and axles. Should go in this week.

Tundra 231mm brakes are in. Hell of a junk yard find $25 a rotor and $50 for loaded caliper.

Front brakes moved to rear with some brackets I made. No ebrake but I'm working on changing that

Another awesome find $65 an axle. Took all they had. Ones got a busted boot but should be easy to fix

The air filter kinda still fits because of the fender tubing, only held in by zip ties but feel sturdy. Open to ideas to mount better. I was thinking of doing an after open air filter.

The battery no longer fits. Comes in contact with the hood. So I got what I need on order to move battery to behind the rear seat between future shock tower. I'm gonna end up making my own dual battery box this weekend if I get time. Also got around to mounting my new washer tank mounted.

Got batteries relocated today. Started w this last night

A little time at my bosses house using the plasma cut turn to this

Little time w a vise and bfh and some welding

All wired up, at least w one battery for now. All the wires are cut and ready to be splice in once I get another one

Fused at stock tie in, kind of worried about this being close to the header but I'm going to keep an eye on it. Couldn't find anywhere that was flat enough to use that the stock wire could reach.

And the ground stock tie in

Hoping this will also help w weight distribution front to rear.

You have to get the ghetto blasters installed. But I won't be doing 15s. maybe a 12 or 2 10s

So after fighting for about half hour to fix this gap, it comes to me that I put a body lift on a few months ago. Did figure out that no matter how hard you try you get a 1" lift out of a stock bumper w factory mounts it is not going to happen.

Did a final cleaning of the interior and once the carpet dries it will be all going back in this week

Brian (Mauzer) gave me his stock bumper for the '96 and he just drilled new holes into the mount to accommodate for his body lift

You should just paint the floor like Sam did instead of reinstalling the carpet. Or install vinyl like I did in mine. It's pretty nice, though I still haven't used it

I thought of doing that but I drove it around the neighborhood to check to make sure I didn't have immediate issues and it was so loud inside it couldn't stand it. So I'm going to put the carpet back in just for the sound deadening.

try that lizard skin stuff, you just spray it on.

Put down two or three layers of fatmat or some sound deadener. It's help keep most of the road noise out my truck. All I hear now is the windshield noise and a very slight hum.

Yea I plan to eventually put some sound deadener down, but my money is going other places for now. And I would rather have not have the interior look like a shit by not covering the floor w something. I'm really not a fan of having to see all the contours of the floor.

Took it for a spin around town today and the self alignment tracks better than my Tacoma. I just need to tilt the tires out some more (not sure on the technical term).

And still couldn't get the tank to take fuel after my gauge wouldn't work for a little bit. But I found the reason. The flex tube on the fuel line has a liner in it. And apparently when you run seafoam thru it will melt it and then it will decide to re seal itself thus blocking all fuel from going down it.

So be warned. Don't put seafoam down the fill neck.
