Also finished product of battery box until second battery goes it.
What type of battery are you running? Needs to be a Marine grade if its going to be inside the cab with you, regular auto batteries put off a gas.

Thanks for the heads up, never thought about that.
Looks like glass mat (Sears DHP).
It is a sears die hard battery. Actually stole the one from the Tacoma and put the stock runner one in the Tacoma.
But any way for future reference, this was pulled right off odessey's website
Improved safety

Took the runner to get smogged today and it kind of passed. All of the emissions were good but it failed because it didn't have enough data on the ecu. So I went and drove around for a few miles, and the damn check engine light came on. Ran the code it is a P0440 error. Seems to be a leak in the fuel tank, vacuum line area. Im thinking I have my vacuum hoses going to the charcoal canister wrong. Because I checked all of my vsv bullshit vacuum switches before I put them back in.
Any suggestion on vacuum gauges to test for leaks from the evap test port in the engine bay?
Or does anyone have a good picture or diagram of which hoses go where into the charcoal canister?

Newish shoes! New rims, but used treinta y cincos. All under $500 and I have a spare 35" tire. But no rim yet . The front clears alright, Just need a little fender trim in the back portion, and some bumper trim. The rear is going to take some sheet metal removal. Going to wait till I get some 1/4" rod so I can weld it in to re-strengthen the sheet metal after cutting.

I know I may have to put the project on hold until I can find some cash for it. Metals not cheap these days.

Not yet. I really need to do some regearing before I go to the rear end. With those 1" wheel spacers on the rear I'm not sure if I really want to spend the money on a new rear axle. I may just truss and four link the one I got. I'll prob just truss it for now and do some stock length links w heims and see how much travel I can pull out of it.

I'd be up for a pismo shake down here soon. I think I'm going to go up to Gorman once I get my Cali plates on. Kinda riding dirty right now. I got a leak in my evap so I can't pass smog right now. But I think it is linked to my fuel guage not reading properly. Havent had time to play that in depth with it since my moms been out here visiting for the passed week.

I'm going to do Miller Jeep soon with a couple of good guys - One just got into the LAPD and used to wheel but hasn't since he bought a very, very clean FJ Cruiser. Should be a fun run. I'll let you know if you're interested. We may spend the night there.

alright well let me know if I'm interested. I dk know how well I'll do w open open diffs, but I'd be up for it in the Tacoma. I was up at big bear this past weekend w my mom and I started to do John bull but we got to the gate keeper and she decided she wasnt interested in going any further so we turned around and just stayed on the easier trails.

One of the guys that will be going is 2wD and I will give him tugs. He's a great wheeler and I've taken him a number of places that you really need 4wd but he gets through where others wouldn't. It should be fun.

Well def let me know when your going and I'll tag along with the runner. I've been driving it today and it's really sluggish with stock gears in it. But I think it will make the trek up the grapevine.
