I saw that as well. Might be fun for the backyard when the family wants to do a Saturday night camp out. My other tents I'm sure take longer to setup and take down.
@tex what bumper did you buy? Also where did you buy the tent from?

By the time you're done "fixing" that shittybilt trailer, you could've built your ownAbout the smittybilt trailer. One thing I noticed and its hard to tell... but it appears that the "frame" only goes back to the point where the trailing arms start.. after that its just some sort of unibody thing. Even the rear mounted shackles are only rated to 600 lbs since they are not mounted to a 2x3 box section of steel. Also, the tongue bolts to the tub assembly. Which could be a point of failure especially on some nasty washboard roads or if you are putting the trailer in a bind. So.. those are things that would need to be addressed. Again I want to see some better pics and reviews... and I'd love to see one up close in person. I am thinking that a person could always reinforce that frame section all the way to the back if need be.

With the money he put into to it...after 6 years plus TVM
Blakes will cost 8,000 and probably still not finished. Damn if he had a nickle from us every time he started a project he would be rich, and still a whole lot of unfinished projects![]()

It would be nice to be able to hire a few of those Chinese phuckers to come over here and do the crappy, time consuming crap and you direct and ensure it's executed to your standards.Probably so... thought has been in my mind. But again, I want to see one and read some reviews. If it works there would be minimal upgrades to get it to what I was initially planning to build anyhow.

I just bought my first cheap tent since I was a teenager last week while bored in my hotel room. Cammo 2 person for $29
Also bought a cheap crock pot for $25.
DIY less than a $55 "steam room" here we come.
They arrive today... one of the knives I really like, the other one is 'different' and I have had my eye on the axe for a while... so I sorta see where my narcotic induced brain got the idea to buy at least two of the items. Over the weekend I was on painkillers and awake at 3AM.. I bought 2 knives and a camp axe. They arrive today... one of the knives I really like, the other one is 'different' and I have had my eye on the axe for a while... so I sorta see where my narcotic induced brain got the idea to buy at least two of the items.
