yeah that's the cozy circle, site 9 has full hookups if you didn't know it. We stayed there frist weekend of November with SETPUCC.. (SouthEast Pop-Up Camper Club)... You should join!

This would be great for my kids.. I wouldn't mind trying to sleep in one, but I know if anyone rolls over in the middle of the night, I am going to feel like I am about to fall! No nookie tent. They look very fun though. Oh!! and you don't have to leave the tent to piss in the middle of the night!

I ordered up an Alps Mountaineering Edge 1 tent last week. I wanted a small backpacking tent for quick trips.

Thats cool. I have a little 2 man Nemo tent, small tent yet big enough I can put my gear inside as well. I have no idea what size the two people where that they put in it to call it a 2 man.. I'm guessing midgets.

My back pack tent is the same. About the size of a bivy sack and it says 2 man tent.

Not my picture, but Z and I have back packed in this spacious delight - including 5 days in the Grand Canyon. Let's just say it was cozy! I now only use it solo.

It's a MSR Zoid 2 - believe it or not, they also made a '1 man' one too!

Z has outlawed it. I can only use it solo. 3 or 4 man tent is all she'll accept, so for backpacking we use a REI Quarter Dome T3.

IIRC its about 2 pounds heavier but at least we can roll over without pulling up the tent stakes!

I intend on using it mainly when truck camping and being just me. I'd also like to do a multiday kayak trip somewhere and camp along the way. No telling when that will happen.

I wanted to do that last year. This year it will happen.

I've done it on the San Marcos river before. There's a camp ground halfway down that will drop you off and pick you up. It's some pretty good rapids as far as texas rivers are concerned. Some great fishing too

Added another DPX Gear knife to the mix. 4" HEFT Woodsman. Christmas special, came with 2 shotglasses, 5 "Danger Tags" (dog tags that the edge breaks off and its a small knife.. very sharp actually!), a couple patches, and an emblem. Basically you pay for the knife and the other crap was free. Which is cool, I love the finish on the Woodsman lineup. Will mix in nicely with the rest of them.

I bought one of those Light My Fire knives when it was on sale from Amazon. It puts out a great spark. I tested it on some good ole dryer lint in the garage and got ignition after 1 strike. My daughter thought it was cool.
