Nice!

How do you like it?

If feels really good in my hand and it appears to be quality constriction. I touched up the edge to get it even sharper. Plus the sheath is nice and had an extra pocket to hold fire starting tools.

Nice, glad you like it. You should be an expert with those fire starting tools by now. :) Wish we video'd you starting that fire in BB with only the flint and steel.

Getting it on video would have been cool. Best part was that I used grass and other gathered materials and no lint or anything.

Just ordered a Fenix TK35. 860 lumens running on 18650 rechargeable batteries. Should be sweet. Will be here tomorrow night.

Since you mentioned lumens I assume it is some sort of light.

I have a Fenix TK75 that I like a lot. I added the extension tubing to it to double its batteries for longer life and give it some heft to hit someone with lol It's retarded bright though... 2900 lumens or some shit.

Yeah when its on full tilt boogie it actually puts off heat! You can feel it on your hand about a foot in front of it.

Picked up a Big Agnes Lily sleeping bag for the little one. Its designed for teenage girls so it should last her a long time, rated to 15 degrees. Has the same construction as the other BA bags so that means it has the sleeve in the back for a sleeping pad. For that I got a Nemo Cosmo Air with Pillowtop. Uber comfy! 3" air mattress with a 1" memory foam cover. Slides in the bag easy and makes it damn soft. Its a short version so it fits nice. Had to set it all up and let her try it out. Now to just go camping.

Good job Sean. I think I am going to wait till next year to take Riley camping. We are just getting the potty training down so next year should be good.

She has a couple house sleeping bags, one Disney Princesses and a Hello Kitty. But this one will just be for camping. Fingers crossed I will be able to take her in a couple weeks once I feel better.

Finally found a RTT I like for a decent price. Just waiting for my tax refund to get here in a couple of weeks and I'll drive to Oklahoma and get the tent. Anyone interested in a Marmot Limestone 4P with footprint? Only been used once.

What tent are you getting?

Either a Tepui Autana or Mombasa Overland Plus. They're within $10 of each other. Only thing is with the Mombasa I would have to pay the sales tax and the Tepui I wouldn't.

After calling the two shops that sell RTTs within two hours of Arlington, my options are:

CVT Mt Shasta with annex for ~$1395 picked up (3-5 day wait)
Tepui Autana with annex for ~$1375 picked up (3-5 day wait)
Mombasa Overland+ without annex for ~$975 picked up, annex is ~$250 picked up (can be picked up next day)
TJM Yulara without annex for ~$900 picked up, annex is ~$225 picked up (3-5 day wait)

Think I'll end up going with the Mombasa without the annex for now and add it later if I need it.

For the record, anyone thinking about buying a RTT, the prices on TRDParts4U (plus tax, obvioiusly) is what you will pay if you pick it up from them. There is no shipping charge to get it to their store because Mombasa has a warehouse just down the street. So one of their drivers just goes and picks it up.

Just be sure to buy one that they accommodates your "girls"... Hey not judging ... Some guys like fat chicks. As a fat guy I'm not one of them. lol

That being said when I go to buy a RTT I'm going for one with an annex with an entry into a 3+ man tent on the inside. I want the heat from a small heater to seep up into the tent like Roger uses.
