Apparently you can buy walls for the FoxWing as well.

It is not a war crime the first time.

Walls would be great during bad weather. Probably not a lot of use during the summer but handy during heavy rain or snow.

True.. I think one might be nice.. block the wind while cooking.

Check out these replacement poles for it... have a built in battery and led lighting.

Cospas Sarsat is upgrading to meosar... should prove for even quicker detection of beacons.

MEOSAR - International COSPAS-SARSAT

Only system I would ever put money up for or my life in the hands of...............IMHO the rest of the PLB's are kids toys in comparison.

Wait. How about the Chinese components in your car's computer? ;)

I have used an Enreach in Mex a few times. I like them but my life isn't worth the monthly payment.

Never seen a PLB using Cospass Sarsat need a subscription. They are buy once cry once. Use once - don't die once lol.
Thats why the commercial boaters and small plane guys use them....well and they are forced to in the planes.

I just looked up Enreach and they bundle too much crap into a PLB and are in the business for profit. They also use a for profit satellite system. Both of those are bad IMHO, but still 1,000,000 times better then a cell phone.

I would never want my PLB to multi task so when I need it to save my life I know it will work and have a charge. If it did do GPS and satellite texts I would be more likely to use it for tasks I did not need ti to do. Check out ACR - they have no subscription and a 11 year shelf life on their batteries. All you need to do is register/update your contact info every 2 years with NOAA. I just want a "Oh Shit" button to press. Don't need any fancy bells or whistles like texting or anything similar. Just the best satellites in the world being tracked by a great team that's NOT in it for making money. Check out my fakebook home page one of these days ~ I have links to all the new stuff going on with tracking. I never dive into the actual PLB's - just the systems that are used. One of the only organizations I donate to that has never asked me for money lol

Pulled the trigger on a new tent. Ive been trying to salvage my 20+yo Eureka Timberline Outfitter 4 for the past 2 years with poor results. Mouse got into the box I kept it in and ate 100+ holes and the poles were all bent up. Got new poles then I tried to patch them all, but it still takes on water. Ended up going with a Eureka Timberline 4 basic model so I can still use all my accessories (vestibules) and the new set of poles I just bought last year. We shall see how long the thinner materials last and newer production quality is.

So we would have to come to your house and get them? Hang out in your garage and drink a beer or 2? Sounds terrible
I may need to order one. :)

These tent poles are out.. for one I cannot locate a retailer. Second the MSRP is $189 (Australian dollars) but that's still a lot for a tent pole. Unless it doubles as a stripper pole.. no thanks. :)

That's Mr Asshole to you
Looks like they do RTT rentals...seems kind of odd.

Their prices aren't bad but their awnings kind of look like my polish awning, aka a canvas tarp tent, couple of tent poles and paracord

3 of us will find out about the awnings later this week.

RTT Rental.. not really odd.. get someone hooked on it and then sell them one. As one who rented a travel trailer and then was dumb enough to buy one, I think its a solid business model. Lots of idiots like me out there. LOL

As for your polish awning, never seen it but the FoxWing is "supposedly" a well built unit.. I'm a bit Polish so I suppose I can make an awning that works . :) Gets good reviews from all around, not for all applications. But as @tex stated, we'll find out soon enough.

Shitty.. I mean shitty video quality ahead
