I mentioned it to a guy with a first gen Tundra who lives in TN. He went with us on the Hurricane Creek run. Seems like a good dude.

I picked up one of these stoves when I got the fridge. This should work a little better than my tiny Snowpeak back packing stove for what I need it for. Figured for $35 I would take the gamble on trying it out.

Ive been loving my butane stove. I haven't used my alcohol stove in a long time. I looked it up but couldn't find any design specs on the Kovea ... but if you are going to use it in cold weather make sure it has a heatsink to keep the butane from freezing up on you. Butane stoves already suck in cold & I know mine burns much better once it "warms" up. Seems weird to heat a canister of fuel up, but not when it's freezing out. I like that it has the auto kick out feature for the gas cause the old ones just exploded lol

I hear @Oswego knows where yall can get a good camping stove lol

The first step is admitting you have a problem and I'm not there yet.

Everyone should have 10 different methods to heat food & water right? lol

I think Ive got multiple stoves for just about every fuel source out there

He will need a time traveling Delorean in order to place his order in time though.

Still waiting for 1/3 of that crap. It's been about 2-3 months so I should send them another nasty e-mail

The Ozarks might be my first solo trip so I am figuring out how/what needs to adjust. Looks like I will have lots of fridge space so far.
If you run solo, I may take you up on some of that fridge space. Probably not going to be in the budget to get one before Arkansas.

Oh hey, acting like you don't appreciate a bidet! Must run it through the water heater first, nobody, and I mean nobody likes cold water on their ass. Unless they ate at Taco Bell the night before. Then its understandable.

Thoughts on a shower like this? Drop the pump end into a jerry can to clean up before bed. I hacked up the lid to my jerry can to pressurize it with a hose bib and tire valve but it doesnt fit on my holder with the bib.

I sent you a link on insta to a place I've bought from. Real good guys that have a solar shower that you might like.

Those are nice but was thinking a little more simple. I already have the Jerry can that is on the back, drop that in the water and rinse off. No air hose or climbing on the roof. Plus I can carry the can and shower head away from camp if I'm with a group.

We have one like that or similar, we usually warm some water from a camp stove and add it into a bucket.

I used this one. Works well.. just heated the water up prior to using it. I like the on/off switch.

Shower, hand washing, fire suppression, washing dishes....cant beat the "KISS" method and how many uses a mobil system can offer

Friends camping about an hr away on a lake. Thought about going tonight and kayaking tom but the high winds are causing burn bans. Good time to have a alternate red neck tv. Seems silly to sit around a dormant firepit.
