thanks for the advice guys. apparently the 15 tacomas shock mount is slightly different then the other year 2nd gens. its just a matter of trimming a couple hairs off. here's a thread regarding what i'm talking about
https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2015-tacoma-rear-shock-mounts-changed-ome-not-an-option.376311/
in reality the trimming really doesn't bother me. With that said, I hate to admit it, but its just not responsibly in my budget, right now. My next set of shocks will be the OME set.

For now I am excited about what I ordered and cant wait for the stuff to get here (rear shocks are on back order). I'm also picking up a nice "only used once" skid plate this weekend!
the whole reason I got the Tacoma was for my daily driver as I have another money pit sitting in my garage... this is how it starts ...

Oswago: Cliff diving! where at man!

I could tell you but then I would have to kill you.

Couple clues:
Accessing the jump location is illegal.
Stream/cliff bed flows through Scranton.
Highest jump is a change in elevation by over 100'

If you figure it out please don't go posting it's location or telling everyone. I haven't even told my friends who have asked. Seen way to many spots get blown up and locked down in this day an age of social media everywhere.

I know the lead times were messed up at one point but I never read about him ripping people off? He has gotten a bigger shop and some more welders now IIRC

I don't think I did either. Can't remember to tell you the truth. Been off tardworld for so long starting to forget which vendors were poo at what times over the years.

X47000 No All Poo. Please. Its def looks over function.

But when the stock leafs take a shit look into the Dakars, The extra leaf is optional. I have both and after 7 years my leafs have not sagged one bit.

Mine are in great shape....but Ive only driven 1k on them at most and most of that was with 2 spare tires int he bed trying to break them in :)

Elite Fab was the one who ripped people off. He was Relentless Fab's business partner at the beginning then they split and went their own ways.

does this look familiar. wasn't near 100' was told 50-60' it looks small in the video from the angle. I know a couple ledges to jump off. I know one off the cabellas exit on 78 we hit it up on our way back to the highway from the ez pull in new ringgold.

Don't forget to take before/ after measurements and pics. You will wish you had once you are done. As for the helper springs - have fun with that. It is worth the work.

Thanks, got the front done earlier, we went out to eat and plans kinda got messed up from there. I got measurements I'll have to find a good pic I already have and go back to replicate it. I got 3.25 exactly in the front I did put the 5mm sleave on the driver side. Also removed sway bar. I'll see how comfortable I am with it gone tomorrow on her test drive.

I'm going to do the rear first thing am. It's a little close in the garage so I'll do it with it open in the day light

Thanks about the tool box, I worked hard for it and I pay my bills with it. It's a krl722
My office :)

Got 2.25" in the rear and 3.25" in the front.
Looking bad ass

Came over to a buddies house who has a stock 2nd gen same as mine. I'll get a pick on the difference when we get them next to eacother. I did have to trim a couple mm off my rear shock mounts. I'll post pics of that later

Yeah, they look good. The 3.25 number made me a bit nervous

Yeah, the cv angles are not too bad. It drives great. When I hit a sharp speed bump I get a little I smack from the front shocks. Seems to be a common problem. Over regular speed bumps it's quiet as stock. I'm loving it so far. I think it will settle down to 3" and 2" I'm going to put it on our alignment rack this week. It feels like the alignment is dead on. I marked the alignment bolts and got them back to factory. But the truck looks like it has slight positive camber going on in the front.

Gave it a drive yesterday, put the carrier bearing drop on this am drove it to the gas station and relized it drove better without it so I took it back off and gave her hell of a test drive today, I love it!
Haven't taken it off road yet, just want to make sure everything is correct this week.
Here it is next to my buddies truck yesterday

N here the pavement princess getting some mad mall crawlin points today :p

Don't I need those invisible trailer mirrors if I want to get up on the 6" curbs at the gym parking lot?

Here's what I ended up trimming, the drivers side shock mount closest to the wheel,
Stock

I didn't want to take off too much so it took a couple trim fit, trim fit ect.

I sprayed it black when I was done

Still mighty close, what do you guys think? The passengers side is about at close as this but I didn't have to trim or anything over there. Just driving around town highway, city, back roads I have no contact but I'm wondering if I should trim more before I go bombing down logging trails ect.

You could always take off more and be just fine. There's still plenty of metal there. A few more thousandths won't hurt anything.

Yeah I'm thinking for peace at mind I'll shave it some more. Still no contact but it's a little close for comfort.
