From the home page to get to the last posts; click on the date/time on the right under the username and it will take you to the last page for that thread.
Tagging users in a post is a good way to make sure they get an alert to that thread. To tag a user you put the @ and then the username. When you put the @ and part of the username the forum will then pop up a box for you to select which user you want to tag.
