damn I miss being out there. Little over a week! Hey Drew, I think we can get to that piece without a slide hammer or dropping the front diff. I am going to look into it before we tear into it.

Ok looks like I'm in. Have a couple of questions tho. Is anyone else trailering there rig? If so where could i leave my tow vehicle and trailer once we hit the trails? I'll be coming from Katy and heading up to lubbock probably the 30th or 31 then probably meet everyone in Amarillo for lunch on the 1st. Also are the plans still the same as the first post?

Trailering is probably not a good idea.

Is your rig street legal?

My rig is street legal I just want to be able to get her home in case I break down.
I could leave it in town somewhere then when we are done wheelin come back and pick her up then head home.

Have you driven the rig several hours round trip before without breaking down? If so, I say bring it. I wouldn't be worried about breaking down on the trail. If anything bad happens, it will be bad enough that you won't be walking away, lol

Not to say you don't need spare tires, and tools. But the trails we do aren't really THAT technical, just fun as hell because they're in the mountains.
