I'm gonna start collecting parts to get this thing back in decent condition.

First on the list are tie rod ends, inner and outer. Anyone know which ones to get?

I found it hard to find the right part number for the Moogs. I was able to find the outers but not the inners. I think I picked up the inners at Napa. Let me see if I can find the right ones in my notes. :) I have a set of Moog inners for a 5 lug. :) :(

How is the Tacoma doing after its week of assaults?

Doing fine. It's going to the body shop next week to get the side fixed. Then I'll just need to get the front end going straight again. A little loose up there, but thta's mostly previous damage. 110,000 miles of driving, and running over things has loostened it all up.

You're right. They are hard to understand. I did chat with one of their CS people yesterday, and they led me in the right direction, I think.

Post up the part numbers you bought - I'm still looking for the right inners as Moog - all I could find were 5 lug inner Moogs.

Finally decided to work on getting the 4x4 on this thing going again. Lifted up, both cvs turn with the tires. When I shift into 4x, it clicks like it's shifting in, but it's not in. Any ideas?
Sam thought it could be the actuator, but not sure if there's a way to see if that's the problem. Others think it's inside the diff.

Could be the stub shaft on the ADD side of the diff, bit there's no way of telling without pulling the diff
