PADUCAH - Local resident Chuck Delaney made headlines this week after purchasing a well-worn recliner once custom-built for adult film legend Ron Jeremy. The plush fabric chair was acquired at a mysterious estate auction labeled simply “Misc. Celebrity Items – Use Gloves.”
“I didn’t know it was that Ron Jeremy until I got it home and saw the monogrammed ‘RJ’ stitched next to a bottle of expired massage oil,” said Delaney, proudly wheeling it into his living room.
He says the recliner is surprisingly comfortable, though it does emit a faint smell of Axe body spray and questionable decisions.
While some friends have expressed concern, Delaney insists it’s a conversation piece. “It’s like having the Mona Lisa of furniture,” he said.
He plans to put it next to his prized lava lamp and velvet Elvis painting “to really tie the room together.”
