New truck. I wish it was the welding rig. I would have just cut my losses and got a new one. I've been on the fence to do that anyway.

I asked insurance to total it and they were not having it

Well the other driver insurance needs to be sued, a rental car only last so long on auto policies, making payments and insurance on truck you can't drive... Needs to be their problem.

If not, you file claim(Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM) Coverage) immediately (15 days) against your own insurance and provide them a check for the deductible amount.

A UM/UIM filled claim cannot account against you per TX law.

I work with another guy that his own business also whenever I have a job that needs more than one guy. The job applicant pool is a little shallow at the moment, most are morons.
