I definitely liked ordering stuff on Saturday and having it at my door yesterday, but that's also very dangerous for a guy trying to save as much $$ as possible. Little to easy/quick.

I still H8 Amazon and think it's formation was the beginning of the downfall of our retail industry, but as the saying goes....if you can't beat them...

To me Amazon is a tool that gets us all one step closer to living in a real life Idiocracy.

Yeah unfortunately you can't beat the convenience and selection Amazon has. With traffic getting worse and worse here, it just makes me want to spend less time driving around.

It still cracks me up to hear "it's a dollar cheaper at wal-mart or target than it is on amazon". Ok, so the maintenance on your vehicle, gas and your time is cheaper than that dollar you'll "save"?

I have been watching this show on Viceland called Abandoned and its pretty cool. Basically this professional skater travels around North America (Canada and USA) and goes to abandoned places and checks them out and then does a little skateboarding.

I DVR just about everything on that channel except the shows about drugs. He's a good guy and that shows great. Amazing to see how America's construction sprawl affects itself. The episode on the LA water management systems blew my mind.

I bought this movie but have yet to watch it... I really want to see it. Maybe on Friday I'll have a movie night at the house.

It's mildly depressing and a potential tear-jerk-er so be prepared. It's not a light movie by any means. As far as actors go he is one of my favorites. Guy has morals and believes in what he does (typically good movies IMO).

I saw a few commercials and it looked interesting. Syfy has been stepping up their game the past few years. Seems their own shows/movies have much higher production value then the old ones I could never stomach due to poor effects/plots/general B class themes.

Umm.. FYI.. The new Top Gear (AKA The Grand Tour) is now available on Amazon Prime. Started watching in a few moments ago and realized I need to go watching this on something bigger than a 27" screen. Just a public service announcement.

Ill be in the same boat, but with no 4k tv. Think my monitor is less than 30" for sure. Great, now begins my transition to cut the cable cord and get a smart TV. Ive been contemplating it for a long time.

I believe you need Prime Video or maybe you can pay per episode. But I watched it in Ultra HD and it was awesome... serious. Show was very entertaining and I can't wait until next week for the next one.
