I liked about 80% of the Grand Tour. The Celebrity Brain Crash got kinda dumb and the renewable materials vehicles episode was pretty dumb.. but overall I liked it. I still have the final two episodes to watch yet.
IMO they are still finding their groove. Also, there's not a lot they can copy from the original Top Gear because of Non compete clauses in place from BBC. That's why they use a tent instead of a building (they aren't allowed to host a show indoors) and why they have "Conversation corner" instead of "the news". It's a little awkward right now until those existing clauses run out, it'll remain that way. I hope they find a new track though, since their current one sucks balls.
I'm more worried about Clarkson and May getting too old to continue the show.
May has already said that at most he has five seasons left in him. (You can tell he's getting old & cranky

I didn't know all that. Funny about the tent. Non-competes suck. Most anti-capitalist piece of crap paperwork I've ever had to sign my name to in my lifetime.
Clarkson is getting pretty darn fat as well as old. He can barley fit into a super car. Hyper cars are going to give him some issues for sure

Yeah the Grand Tour had to hire teams of lawyers to go over the old contracts and find ways around them. I think the big tent is a pretty clever idea and pretty cool because of the different backdrops they have.
I'm so happy they got rid of the celebrity lap and I hope it never comes back.

3 years I believe.
While there are parts of the show that are a bit forced or off beat from the rest of the show; it is a lot better than no show at all. I do wish they would get rid of the "American driver" and just have a driver run the car through the gears with out all the commentary.

On another note I totally forgot about Pigman. I've been watching that off & on for a few years and it's a pretty funny hunting show.
Most of his episodes are on youtube. Did you know he got into a pretty serious wreck and had to relearn how to shoot? Pretty crazy...

Yea, I think that was 2-3 seasons ago. Last season he had major issues relearning and his eye was FUBAR. This season he seems to be 100% back on track and his eye looks much better. In the beginning of this season he kind of said he was hindering his health by going on so many trips so this year he was focusing on getting better. Said something like "I'm risking my vision to meet and great" or something like that.
He got a few doe this week. He was missing bad at first but it was due to not re-sighting after installing a suppressor. They were shooting suppressed trying to tag as many does as they could without having them run off after the first shot. Ranch he was at needed to take down 100 does ASAP. Pretty crazy seeing someone take down a doe and the rest still sitting around the feeder wondering what happened, then someone takes them down. Think he had two within 10 yards of each other.
he also took a doe with a re-curve and I thought that was pretty cool.

I do have a copy of Richard Marcinko's Rogue Warrior Destination Gold that he signed for me. I had read his previous books and liked them alot. The one I bought... ehh.. not even sure I finished it. But he was a cool dude. Founder of Seal Team 6.. got in a lot of trouble.. I think he was gonna be court martialed but they gave him the option to retire.
