I have read a few articles about the Waco siege and the anniversary lately. A few of them tried to loosely defend the agents as "in the dark" for the overall actions and one tried pushing all blame to the Davidians for not coming out immediately. I have had a few conversations at work about the ATF actions at Waco but people who defend the ATF are quickly shutdown when I bring up the series of actions of the ATF at Ruby Ridge, Waco, and then unknown one-on-one interactions. The rise of social media has helped flush out and spread news of ATF interactions with individuals in the last 10 years. The ATF just needs to be abolished. Hit the big reset button and let a real law enforcement group handle Alcohol and Tobacco.

Yeah that whole deal was a shit show from the start. The cult fucks got a heads up from a member because the ATF let the news crews know they were going to hit the place. One of them got lost on the way out and stopped a postman (cult member) and asked directions. The ATF knew ahead of time they'd been busted, but went ahead with the raid instead of putting it off.
The ATF wanted a gun fight and they made it happen. The local Sheriff's Office was on good terms with the compound yet the ATF did not want local LEO involvement. Janet Reno should roast in hell for the lives that were ended under her tenure.

Her and the ATF lead should have both started burning the second one of those kids locked inside started coughing from the smoke. They really fucked up when they got the head heifer out so she could see her son, then televised her getting locked up. Otherwise I bet it would have ended a bit more peaceful. Koresh was bat shit crazy, but im not sure even he would have approved of those kids roasting
Had the ATF done any actual research into Koresh they would have known going full military assault on the compound would fulfill his "prophecy" that the government was going to destroy "the believers". The ATF actions strengthened Koresh's following and set the dominoes to falling.
Anyone still following the Mandalorian? Last few episodes graphics have been pretty good.
Yeah I've been watching it. It's good so far this season.
