:( what a shame. Horrible when DIY service is so frowned upon. Used to be a good thing to work on your own cars....still is IMHO.

so are they black so they are hidden? and no ones knows it's not "jacked up" ?

Look at it this way, as a theft saver. If anyone was going to try and steal it now's the time. Can you image the guy who hot wires it then throws it in reverse? That would be pretty funny....well not really but you know what I mean

So the jackstands I bought are part of the recall (I am not using them right now. Using the old stands). So I need to buy some replacements.

Does anybody have any experience with the US Jacks? Supposed to be a 100% made in USA.
Buy U.S. Jack D-41610, 6-Ton Heavy Duty Rachet Jack Stand

Welp, just realized they are all out of stock everywhere. Guess I'll wait until they get back in stock in a month.

I just bought a set of these from www.madeinusatools.com since I have some maintenance to take care of before we leave for Colorado.

Said they'll drop ship from manufacturer in 5-7 days. They were under $200 shipped. Nearly $50 cheaper than Amazon.

Update: Just got an email from the website I ordered from saying the ship date would be a little later than stated on the site but that they talked to IS Jack and we're give a conservative answer of "early July" but they expect it to be sooner.
