One of the benefits of the new software is the Media Gallery. The MG is useful for posting pictures into threads on TO-R and on other forums. There are many ways to add media to your gallery; this How To will cover the most straight forward method. Any media you upload into your Media Gallery can be accessed through the camera icon to post into a reply or new thread.
First, you hover on the drop down arrow on the right of the Media tab below the ToyotaOff-Road banner. From the drop down list select Add Media. The next page that loads will have two options: Add media to... a site category or an album. The site category list can be accessed by clicking on the drop down arrow and then selecting the category that the picture fits into. If you would rather make an album for your pictures you can select the second button, then the drop down, and select Create an album. Once you have an album created it will be listed under this option as well.
Once you have made an album you can set the permissions for who can see the album and who can add to the album. General guideline would be Everyone can see the album, and only the owner can add to the album unless you wanted other people to add to it.
From this point you select to Add Media; and then browse to the location of the picture on your phone/ computer. Once the picture is upload you can name the picture, add a description to it, and then select save. After it has been saved you will see links to post the picture on other websites/ forums if you want.
Depending on what software the other forum or website is running will be the deciding factor on which link you want to copy/ paste. The most common links will be Share BB Image or Share BB Image (with Thumbnail). I would recommend the Thumbnail link for ease of other people viewing on other threads.
