Just don't keep waiting for life to get right before you start enjoying some of it. It will be gone by then.

True, but I'm not talking about a 5 year plan.... I'm talking about this fall.

One last adventure before I become a bitch to the man again working 60hrs a week in an office behind a desk wanting to be free lol

I still need to put the PRP trigger in my Hellcat. It's just sitting on the shelf waiting.

I'll need to order another trigger for this one. Think I'm gonna take this one as my main carry since it's the optic ready one (though I doubt I'll ever put a red dot on it for carry) and give Taylor my flat top one. Throw the light/laser that this one came with on the one I give to her. Her XD9 being a double stack is hard for her to shoot if she doesn't have plenty of time to focus on her grip. And this one is quite a bit smaller even with the light/laser on it.

Mine is the optics ready one as well... and I am doubtful I'll ever put anything on it.

My neighbor bought me this RRS for Christmas.. first time using it. Holy Crap... its awesome! I loaded 10 mags in just under 10 minutes.. towards the end I could do a mag in maybe 35 seconds. Super easy!!

Somebody is bragging about all his ammo. Need help unloading those magazines so you can load them again? :)

Alright what is everyone's opinion on 10mm vs 357mag for a hunting sidearm?

All depends on what you are hunting; but 357Mag is good for up to deer. My f-in-law has taken a few with his Ruger Blackhawk.

If I ever stepped up it would be to a 357 so I could still use my 38 ammo in it cause Ive got a ton of that stuff laying around

I'm leaning more toward 357 just due to the fact I don't own a revolver already and want one. I'm not so much looking to hunt with it as I am looking at it for protection while hunting or camping. Basically defense against non-humans. I'd say mountain lion and black bears would be the biggest threats I'll realistically encounter.

My .38 snubby always goes w/me when we go camping in bear territory and we usually keep a shotty or carbine on the picnic table for public use. That said - I know with confidence that my .38 would not stop a black bear let alone a brown bear.

Really liking the Ruger GP100

7 rounds is niiiiice.

I like the 1774 model except that hammer needs a trim. Ive grown fond of my shaved S&W hammer

That is maddening to think shotguns and shotgun shells over .410 would be outlawed. Logic escapes these people.

10mm and .357 are similar in power... depends on what you are putting it in. A revolver holds 6.. my XDM holds 16.

I'd like a G40 for one, but just can't bring myself to drop the cash yet.

10mm all day long. So many good self-defense loads. And it'll hold more rounds than a revolver will.

1911 in 10mm. Get a leather over the shoulder harness for it.
