Bought my first O/U today. Beretta Silver Pigeon 1. Its all I could force my self to spend and all the wife would let me spend. Should have it at my FFL by the end of the week.

I've never had a rifle so sensitive to being dirty... But I've also never fired a pencil barrel that was this accurate.

I think that is problem the vanguard barrel gets pretty damn hot after a few rounds, loose accuracy

I have they same rounds pretty good and I think I have a box or 2 in 165g also

Nice, I like shooting OU that Jason has, I may get one next year or after season is over to save a bit or pick up a good used one

I thought it was just the heat at first... but after extensive testing found out that it has to be cleaned alot too

Ok I'll try that next time, sounds damn near like a muzzy loader, clean every 3 shots

Just submitted my Form 1 for my silencer. Since my trust has to be verified it will take a little longer but my friend who is helping me out through this figures 4-6 weeks max for this one. Next one should be faster because the trust has already been verified.

Sweet.

Drew do you know anyone in the area that does these trust at a reasonable cost?

I wouldnt blackouts have come down in price and can be built for under 800$

The ammo is $$. But a suppressed 300 blackout makes me wet my pants

After I looked around a little I decided to keep the DE44. I really didn't want to part with it anyways. Its a fun gun to shoot minus the fully loaded weight of 72oz. I found an Upper I like made by Hardened Arms. I think I can get it on Gun Broker for about 340 w/o the BCG and charging handle. Picked up a Voluntary Arms full lower and some other goodies. I need to find a reasonably priced NiB BCG and Charging handle and I shoul be good to go. Should have about 850 in the whole gun.

I found mine in OK (firearms4u.com) for about 200 cheaper than any place that carried it in Houston. All of the used ones I checked out had little nicks and scratches on them and the sellers still wanted pretty much new prices for them. I just bought new for that reason plus no tax and free standard shipping. Easily saved 350 bones or so.

Nice! Just in time for duck!

Still patiently waiting for it to show up a Battleground Firearms.

and no Mike, it's not going to the duck blind, that is what my beater Nova is for.

Received a status change this morning that my eForm submission is being processed. That means my trust was verified and accepted. This was faster than expected; hopefully the stamp is the same. The website NFAtracker.com is showing guys getting their eform applications back about 4 weeks after filing; paper is 4-15 months. Glad I efiled.

Nice

I was thinking of getting a 30cal can for the deer rifles, has anyone shot an oversized can like the 30cal put on an AR .223?

I just wonder if there is a big enough difference in sound to justify in buying a seperate can just for the smaller round like the 223 if your using a 30cal can on an AR
