Lol..900 lumens is a bit much for a weapon mounted light.
I got a few surefire-their customer care is to notch and product is top of the line.

My weapon larue quick detach is a g2 (100 lumens) has a great throw, very wide and lights up half a room vs a tight throw

My carry is a e2led (120 lumens high, 20 low*). The throw is tight and can reach 200yards . We once used it at Jason's ranch to check the feeders at 200yards for animals.

Just got my wife a g2x pro. Wide throw 320 lumens high, 15 low. For 64 bux, I like it a lot.

They all run cr123 as my eotechs run them. Love the shelf life and run time

yep! ha The 1000yard range down here got shut down for a while and its to hot and windy down here anyways. I'm keeping my .308,12gauge,a few .22's and some pistols. Everything else is getting sold.

Savage is the way to go, just don't get one of those axiom models, crappy trigger and no replacement for it
