I've got 2 Springfields, XD sub compact, and XDM. I know that's not what you asked, but I think Springfield is one of the greatest handguns around.

Odd my springfield 1911 is horrible, its very ammunition sensitive and has to be cleaned every 30ish rounds or it starts stove piping spend cartrages with cheaper ammo 50ish rounds with higher quality ammo. I recently acquired a S&W 1911 and doesn't have any where near the ammo issues it seems to shoot every thing equally have only had to clean it once over several hundred rounds.

Hmm, I would figure the xds would not be picky. My springfield 1911 hasonly ran into one type it won't feed, Aguila ammo
Shot a 500 gal propane upright tank at about 100+ yards today with the pistol haha
The new potential pistol is for my wife..tons of sub compact options and she would rather have something with a manual safety (possibly a 1911 commander, fuck ya!!)
Organized the safe today...little 45 reserve stash

I guess picky was the wrong word to use. It just won't feed HP about half the time. Some polish work on the feed ramp should get it fixed up though. I'm having a trigger job done on my 1911 by a gunsmith out by my parents' house. I'm going to have him take a look at the XDS as well.

Well, after the POTUS made his sanctions speech I went ahead and ordered another 500 rounds of 7.62x39 today. If the price skyrockets, I will have already gotten some at the cheap price. If it doesn't, I just got more ammo to add to the pile. Win/win in my book.

Dry fit to make sure all the parts work well together. Think it all looks great (minus the 40rnd mag,). And it's the lightest AR I've ever held. Gonna put it all together this week.
