Well Drew's gun sounds great with my can. Also got the AK where I can hit essentially a paper plate at 100 yards with a no magnification red dot sight.

Had a great time at the range this morning shooting with Jason. He brought his can to shoot on my AR Pistol

Pretty damn quiet too. Didn't hurt without ear protection. I wanna try it on a 7 inch barrel now lol

I have accesss to one, guns are bad ok, but I think it said not to use one on it, but it's your can if you want to.
Rock River PDS .223, shows 9in but that is with a muzzle comp on it, I believe.

Big warning on thier website not to fire LAR PDS pistol with sound suppressor

Read some stuff and most people said the 10.5s were fine, the 7 inch doesn't allow for proper powder burning and causes the suppressor to wear prematurely.

I of course was looking for fine print lol

lol Well did you notice that the rock rivers are piston driven and there is no recoil tube behind the receiver?
Maybe more pressure out the front? Hell I don't know

Pretty much what I was thinking. The suppressor will allow for excess pressure to build up and cause the piston to excessively wear/break. Maybe?

I was thinking opposite, blowing up the can

So Drew, does the suppressor increase felt recoil or upward muzzle climb? Obviously decreases sound, but all the suppressor videos I have seen seem to indicate recoil changes in doing so.

I would think the can would hold the pressure (at least not be the firearm manufacturer's problem). From research/testing on getting my 300 Blkout rounds to run properly subsonic I know a lot of people have better luck once a can is on the firearm because it slows down/controls the gasses escaping the barrel/action allowing for more pressure to build up to cycle the action. Lack of a quality pressure curve is a problem for subsonic ammo; but I would expect the same pressure curve increase to be there even on full pressure loads.

The last time I shot through a can it seemed to reduce felt recoil.
