Only A Few Bump Stocks Turned In To Police Despite Massachusetts Ban
"With my fourth amendment rights, the police will never know I own one. Hell even if I wanted to sell it and comply with the law, according to the law it is illegal to sell it to other states, which is probably a violation of the interstate commerce clause and federal supremacy clause but I don't have the cash to fight a constitutional battle and the ACLU won't do shit about it so my hands are tied. Plus this is ex post facto legislation. Therefore as a citizen I believe it is my duty to refuse to comply with draconian and unconstitutional legislation."

I have a hard time understanding how anyone who understands and respects their rights can live in the North East. Especially north of NYC.

Got these in on a 2018 ShotShow coupon. Saved a good bit too. The shooting pillow also blends in with my couch. My wife bought a new couch pillow (not the white one in the pic), so when this pillow came in, I tried to pass it off as a new couch pillow for me since she bought one. :) she wasn't laughing once she figured out what it was lol
The tan booklet is an ammo carrier. It's more convenient then boxes of ammo. Holds 98 rounds and is nice & compact.

Installed the new Versamax competition carrierinto my shotgun last night. Worth every penny!

Old carrier on the left, new on the right. You can see the fork has been welded up which is what makes the difference. No more ripped fingernails!

Bottom view. I took this after about 20 mins of quad loading practice to make sure the carrier functioned properly.

That hunt has had more than a few articles published about it. One of the articles pointed out that all game was taken within 150 yds. I guess I am going to be watching and waiting for some real-world results. The round looks great on paper but that is not enough to make me spend my money yet. In theory I could still load up a hot 300 BlkOut at 125 grains for use between 200 to 400 yds and use equipment I already have.

Basing it against the classic .270 Winchester.

I will stick to my .243 and 30-06 for hunting. My 243 has killed countless deer and pigs and continues to perform great out past 200 yards on Texas deer. I have tried all kinds of rounds and it likes the cheaper 100 grain Hornady loads.
30-06 will spit a 165 grain Barnes TSX at 2750 fps so I'm good with that. No need to add anything else for my needs.

I owned, briefly, a Ruger M77 stainless in 30.06. Bought it in Alaska while stationed there and sold it maybe 18 months later. Got it for CHEAP.. $200 IIRC <edit.. I think it was less than $200 but I can't recall> ..it was a long time ago.. should have kept it.

What rifle do you shoot .243 out of? I have a stainless Browning A-Bolt .243 and it has killed more deer than any other rifle in the safe. It's dead nuts accurate

Ruger M77. Wood and blue. I let my brother borrow it and he somehow got the stock all scratched up and let it get rusted. I have a synthetic stock for it and plan to get it cerkoted but not in a big hurry.

Yeah that might be problem with 224, with 90 grain bullets, not sure if they have 100grain bullets yet.

But my son uses 223 sling shot with 77gr but usually 100yds or less, some drop dead, some run a bit, 30yds or so, but shot placement is key

You probably did yourself a favor selling it. I was at the range and this guy had a $100 Remington 30.06 (pre-Sandy Hook pricing) and I couldn't believe how thin that barrel was. It made a pencil barrel look like a bull barrel in comparison.

Ordered up another case of Wolf Gold .223. Came out to around $0.29 per round.

@tex sent this to me a little bit ago. Figured y'all would like to know about it. Runs until the 21st. Going to be adding two new guns to the safe soon.
