Damn. That's a good deal. dea bad it won't work on mine. I'll have to stick with the 10/22 or get a dedicated 22lr upper.
It's more than accurate enough for me and runs reliably. Kinda hard to justify building a dedicated .22 upper if you already have a .223 upper.

I was shooting subsonic .22 the other weekend and the loudest part was the bullet hitting the cardboard at 25 yards (shooting without a suppressor) lol

I don't have a 223 upper though. Just my 6.8 so I'd have to build an upper either way. Might as well just do a dedicated 22LR since I don't have any interest in 5.56/223.

Yessir. Dedicated .22 upper is a better deal for you. Although...you could buy a .223 barrel and then you have two calibers to shoot instead of just one. ;) poke poke nudge nudge

But I have no interest in having/shooting 556/223. That's why I got rid of the AR I had to fund the 6.8 build.

That is part of my issue. All my AR uppers are not in 5.56 so I would need another upper. I keep watching for a decent upper dirt cheap but I am in no hurry.

Decent enough for the price. Always someone that buys a nice rig and then needs to sell it to make rent or a car payment.

Got my CMMG Bravo .22LR conversion kit last week, have yet to shoot it But today I picked up a S&W MP15-22 (ODG Magpul furniture) with 3 magazines and more .22 ammo. Plan is to paint the Magpul furniture (I have 2 sets of ODG) and then let the little one use it.. I'll use the CMMG kit.

Holy crap that is gold!
That's what I thought at first as well but after sifting through a lot of the data on the spreadsheet and comparing it to other sources on the internet...I don't have a lot of faith in those posted numbers anymore.

Temperature, humidity, location, barrel length, powder charge, etc... are all factors in suppressor testing. So you'll see some really skewed numbers on that data sheet.
Most suppressors from reputable companies will be within a few decibels of each other regardless. You just need to pick the mounting system you like and the actual tone of the suppressor when shooting.

If the tone of the suppressor is nice, then you won't be able to tell a few decibels difference. After a TON of research, I have decided to go with a Dead Air Sandman S over the SilencerCo Omega suppressor due to the build quality, tone and mounting options. Dead Air's muzzle devices are better, the mounting system is rock solid and I save about $130 over the Omega. Yeah the Omega is consistently quieter by a few decibels and a few ounces lighter than the S but my deaf ears won't be able to tell lol The Sandman S is built like a tank so I don't have to worry about knocking it around.

I have shot the Omega and loved the tone of the suppressor but the ASR mounting system sucks (you can google dozens of threads on ASR issues. Also my buddy who owns one, had his Omega come loose on him while shooting). You can buy a Dead Air Key Mo adapter for the Omega, but by the time you do that, you add $250 to the overall total cost of the suppressor.

But side note- if you want one of the quietest suppressors on the market, the SilencerCo Specwar is the way to go...but good luck finding one and it weighs a ton lol

Installed a V7 tool steel bolt catch on my DPMS lower. I am genuinely surprised how light it is compared to a milspec bolt catch.
I was prepared to return it if I didn't feel a difference in weight.

Also installed some titanium grip screws. These also don't weight anything as well.
