The grip screws weren't terrible in price and actually quite a bit lighter. I was ready to return all of them and get my money back if I didn't think it was worth it.
But yeah, just using the DPMS as a guinea pig at the moment. I really want to build an aluminum/Titanium 5.56 pistol.
I made a 6# AR pistol for ~$3k the other day. That $3k includes it being an insanely soft shooting accurate AR pistol (I'm not building a piece of shit just because it's cheaper or lighter).

Yeah it cracks me up. I had a guy that owned a LWRC AR, ~$2,500 AR, shoot my AR. He put it down and offered to buy it from me on the spot. At that time, I probably had around that much into my AR. Sadly that is no longer the case
