Talk to @Anathollo if you want a commercial can. If you want to go Form1 for home built that is a whole different thread. lol
Dead Air Nomad or Dead Air Sandman S. They have the best QD system on the market and their muzzle brakes are actually pretty damn good.

The difference between the two is the Sandman S is overbuilt for serious shooters or people who put a ton of rounds down range (which is why I got it). Their Nomad is lighter and .25" wider but it's designed for hunters and is plenty tough.

The only other companies I'd recommend are Thunder Beast ($$$$) and CGS. CGS makes some AMAZING, stupid quiet cans but they don't have a great attachment system yet only direct thread.

Stay away from Silencer Co. Their ASR attachment system is absolute trash (I have first hand experience with it and damn near shot my coworkers can down range). Also if you look at their Hybrid suppressor, it's not worth it.

You should ditch that shockwave blade (which you can't shoulder IIRC) and get a SBA3 (which you can shoulder). The SBA3 are awesome and damn near a stock. I ran one until I got my SBR stamps. They should be cheaper now that the SBA4 just came out. I'm not a fan of the looks of the SBA4 personally...

We have a Thunder Beast already, but that's the only can we've got at home. Thanks for the advice.

Don't really see a need to replace the Shockwave, and I got it pretty cheap, too.

Ahh that's right. I remember someone on here had a Thunderbeast. I like em alot but would only get one for my RPR. I also think they are overpriced for what they are when there are comparable cans on the market.

Also, look at getting this JP enterprises silent capture spring. It takes a ton of recoil out and you get rid of the annoying spring noise you hear when running suppressed. Worth every penny. Here's a link for it.
JP Rifles

There's no letter from the ATF for the shockwave whereas there's a letter from the ATF for the SBA3 saying you can shoulder it . So I wouldn't shoulder that brace at a public range. You don't want to risk your pupper...

I like my SBA3.. it shoulders just fine... even for a 9 year old. :)

I never ever ever go to public ranges. I don't like them. Last time I was at one was for the LTC class
10-fo. Just keep that in mind...

Well I'm on my coworkers trust so I can use his SilencerCo (SiCo) Omega. I was all set to buy an Omega since the weight to suppression ratio is awesome. SiCo uses a thinwall titanium tube to go over their baffles. In order to keep it all together, they use a hi-temp glue instead of welds bc it weighs less. You can literally squeeze the suppressor in your hand and hear it crunch together. Pathetic...my buddy was SET to buy an Omega and then he got to shoot this one and was changed his mind.

So, when I was shooting it at the range I was swapping it between my .223, 300BO and my buddies 300BO upper. The ASR mount came off twice. I had to use a wrench to pry it off my SiCo muzzle brake. Then while shooting my .223 upper, after about 20 rounds, my OCD/paranoia kicked in and I checked the ASR mount and it had unlocked itself! WTF! I KNOW I had locked it before starting shooting.

You can also Google instances of other people doing the same. There's a company called Q that offered free suppressors if you sent a video of you launching your SiCo can downrange. Don't buy from Q, they are absolute fucking assholes who are a shame to the gun industry. But the ASR mount is so bad that Q, Dead Air and Griffen offer SiCo ASR replacement QD mounting systems for it.
I own the Dead Air Keymo for the ASR (so I can still use my coworkers Omega with my Dead Air brakes).

(Please don't but anything from Q. They are the Pelfreybilt of the suppressor industry. A bunch of liars. The owner is being convicted of stalking his ex-wife right now. They do have the best marking team on the planet though).

And lastly the Griffen Plan A. Lol Griffen is a joke and just steals other companies designs. Hence the name "Plan A". They couldn't even think of their own original name.

So the Nomad is for "lighter use"? What does that entail? How many rounds could I send through before it gets too hot and I should have got the Sandman?
So for me, I shoot a lot in a day. I've shot over 1k rounds of .223 in a day at a carbine class. So for me the sand man is a better fit. However the Nomad would probably hold up just fine.
I guess the only way to think of it is:
Sandman S is for combat use.
Nomad- occasional mag dumps and hunting. It's also lighter, quieter and has interchangeable end caps so it'll be more modular. So you could run this on multiple mounting systems.

This is Mike Pappas. He's a legend in the suppressor community. Super chill, legit dude. Him and Todd Magee make some good gear.

Feel free to PM me with any questions you have or for any NFA paperwork questioms. I researched for months before deciding on what I wanted to buy. I know way too much about em at this point lol

Not really gun related, but it fits best here.

My coworker is Nepalese and just got back from a trip home with a gift for me...

Nice!!! I platoon worked with some Ghurkas in Iraq in '03. A lot of the guys traded for knife sets like that. The military bag checkers in Kuwait confiscated a lot of them assuming they were war trophies. Sucked for those guys. Those knives and the Ghurkas were bad ass though.
