Supposedly FN has figured out how to harden the throats enough that the barrel life is not a big deal. Besides; there is a huge difference between "machine gun accuracy" and "precision rifle accuracy".

If this goes through then there will be Lake City Match grade 6.5 Cm brass on the reloading market. That would be a real bonus for reloading it.

Gun sales are happening this weekend. If there's anything you've been thinking about buying, check for that gun part or gun on multiple websites and you'll probably find it on sale.

I've already ordered a couple hundred bucks of stuff. :)

Yeah I think there's a AR10 set on sale from Aero precision.

Edit: nevermind it's out of stock already. :(

Look at all that room for more activities (bullets)! :) This little amount pretty much filled my Pelican 1510 case.

That frog lube is snake oil
lol it's not. But I primarily use Slip2000 now (on high use guns), ballistol (on guns I don't use a lot) and the froglube on my shotgun.

I'm planning on making my own lube once my supply runs out. 2 parts Synthetic 5W-30 oil + 1 part synthetic ATF fluid = awesome gun lube for cheap.

The problem with is that if it gets into areas it shouldnt, or is applied too heavy its turns into hard gunk. Also in cold weather it turns into molasses.

Frog lube ruined a duck hunt for me. Applied to my 870, some got into the firing pin channel. It was fine at the house. Get it to the duck blind and it hardened and bricked my gun.

Yeah I remember, we talked about it awhile back. You have to wipe off any excess with the lube. I duck hunted for a solid week in salt water, never cleaned my shotgun once and I had zero rust. And my shotgun is a Remington so it's made to rust lol

But I have switched back to using normal gun lube since you can basically run any type of oil to lubricate your gun. You can't do that when you run frog lube (you can't mix lubes). Other than that, I haven't had any issued with the Frog lube.

Ouch. Wish I would have seen it earlier
Yeah I would've bought it and swapped out the barrel to a better caliber and better barrel.
