Shot 400 rounds through my G34 the other day at an indoor range. Was wondering why I was shooting right at 25 yards when doing iron sight practice. Came home, started to break down the pistol to clean it (it has been about ~1k rounds since I cleaned it last) and noticed my rear Trijicon sight started to work it's way loose. So I popped it off, put some blue loctite in the dovetail and reinstalled the sight. Hopefully it should be good to go now.
Side note: I forgot how scary it is to shoot at an indoor range. The guy to the left of me was slapping the trigger like it owed him money (causing him to shoot all over the target at 3 yards) and the guy to the right of me had a cool tacticool laser

Putting your life in others hands is rarely a good time. Why I pretty much gave up shooting until I find a good safe outdoor range.

Just a meme. Hipoint had a name contest for their new 9mm pistol and that was the winner by popular vote. But they're acting like it never happened and wont make it an official option in the final vote. And the internet is memeing the fuck out of it.
It was between "Yeet Cannon 9" and "Problem Solva 9mm". Yeet Cannon won the naming contest but Hi Point wanted a more "serious" name (like anyone who buys their guns takes them seriously).
A lot of guys were gonna buy them if they actually named the pistol Yeet Cannon just to own a gun that said that. So Hi Point just lost a lot of pre-sales

This is my custom PAR1 ($270) mated to a JP Recoil Eliminator ($90) by Sterling Arsenal in VA ($260).
[science warning] I multiplied the pressure-time curve of 223 by bore area to get a Force-time curve, which I then divided by mass to get an acceleration-time curve. I then took the double integral to find the position-time curve, where I plugged back in the time of peak pressure to get the bullet movement of peak pressure. Add that to the brass length of 223 and you get what is the scientifically loudest barrel length for the cartridge. I then used Precision Rifle Blog's sound study of muzzle brakes to pick the JP RE as it was one of the loudest ones by decibel rating (3 way tie) and looked the coolest of them. Finally I called several gun shops, and after getting laughed at, called reckless, and outright hung up on, I finally found one that said they would do it, after they stopped laughing. TLDR: What I have before you, is the loudest 223 possible. It is the only one of its kind in the world, and I love it.

There once was a boy who blatted his 10.5" AR at the range before shorties were mainstream. He loved being the loudest thing at every indoor range. One day, our vigilant hero was out done by 7" or shorter ARs, and he decided that day that he would not lose this fight again. He would create the ultimate ear destroyer, the nuclear option of loud, and never again will women question his penis length.

Why not use a 4.5" AR barrel
Pressure and volume are inversely related, meaning at low numbers, the rate of change is huge. Going from 3.2" to 4.5" is the same % change as going from a 10" barrel to a 14" barrel or from a 16" barrel to a 22" barrel. Plus the brake adds length; a 4.5" barrel with a brake is more akin to a 5.5" barrel.

Picked up a Sandman E-Brake for my Sandman S awhile back (forgot to post a pic I think). It didn't come with the end cap.
