I can legally haz a can of bear spray which ironically can't be shipped to NJ. Blue man group (liberal reps) say you don't need defensive protection when out and about in the most densely packed black bear territory in the country
The tree huggers flipped out about bear hunts so they had a moratorium put on them for a while then the population exploded.

I'm just glad we don't have polar or grizzly bears. Black bears are typically not aggressive.
in the lower 48, Black Bears are not much of an issue unless you kick a cub, other than that they typically want to avoid humans just as much you want to avoid them. I can tell you they can smell you if the wind conditions are right up to 1/2 mile away, no problem, even if your a hunter with scent free laundry, deodorant etc...
We have encountered 7 black bears on 1 hike, and after I had a juvenile bear cross behind us, we slowly walked back to the trailhead.

Everybody should heed the warnings not to feed wildlife because they become dependent and don't forage for themselves any longer. It is such a tragedy to see what has been done to our country's wildlife. The photo below captures a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect U.S. wildlife.
Animals that formerly were self-sufficient are now showing signs of belonging to the Democrat Party. They have apparently learned to just sit and wait for the government to step in and provide for their care and sustenance. This photo is of a black bear in Old forge turned Democrat. He's nicknamed Bearack Obearma. It is believed that he has become a campground organizer.

When I camp in North Jersey (typically in winter to avoid any bears) you are not allowed to even bring the cooler out of your car. So basically you get your car torn apart because they don't allow you to string it up in a tree. Breaks the basic 100 yard triangle rule for camping/pooping/cooking but whatever floats their boat. Not like you can spread out a 100 yard triangle when another camp site is 10' away. Luckily in winter no ones there but me and friends w/me.
I have a friend who showed me the site thats had a bear come and steal his bag of chips from the campsite table when he was 20 yards away chopping firewood. The bears get pretty brazen when they are used to idiot campers leaving food and trash around all the time. Sadly the same bears get put down because of those idiots.

The only way to defeat the red flag laws is to constantly report your politicians as crazy once the red flag laws go into law. Get them so mad that they repeal it. Or just flood the sheriffs office with tips that they can't process them all and just start ignoring the reports.
Hopefully someone calls the local PD and reports her suicidal thoughts she was muttering in the grocery store. For her safety and all.

The guy gave away his rights. Literally and figuratively. He just rolled over and handed them away. I'm not saying he needed to create another Ruby Ridge, but no way in hell I'm handing over my licenses and firearms illegally. Ive worked far too hard to "get" my rights to just hand them over when a illegal request is made. No thanks. I feel for the guy, but he's his own worst enemy. #1 rule of firearms law - keep your trap shut and get your lawyer. I have a card in my wallet w/my lawyers name and number on it and he's the top guy in our state. People can call me crazy, but Ive read enough horror stories and seen enough video's of rights being stripped away.
When you actively give up your rights it's much harder to get them back let alone prove your case.
We have to stop giving in to those cucks. Deleting this thread is EXACTLY what they want. The more we talk about firearms openly, the more commonplace it is. Just like marijuana... except for the fact that firearms are legal and is part of our constitution.
