Ordered a Magpul Backpacker take-down stock and optics mount for it. Now to locate a 10/22 take down. Most are sold out... with no backorder allowed. Oh well.. when I get it I get it. Give me time to pick-up a decent red-dot and heavy barrel for it.

Edit.. just called my LGS and they said they are getting the heavy threaded barrel take-down versions in 10 business days or so. I put my name on the list and will get one then. A little more money than the standard version but I was looking at close to $300 for a barrel anyhow.

Interesting. I have a DPMS that I haven't shot in years. I don't remember having to pull mags out, but I don't remember them dropping free either. I need to check.

DPMS & Colt are known for making undersized magwells. I never realized how bad/out of spec my lower was until I got my Radian lower and all the mags dropped free right away.

Options on a decent red dot for a .22LR. I have an Sig Romeo5 with the 2MOA dot and a 65MOA ring. I like it alot. The ring allows me to be on target much quicker it seems. But looking for other options before I buy another one.

Oh and I looked at the link @Anathollo posted a few pages back for Primary Arms Red Dots... seems all are on back order.

So far everything I want is in stock... except spare mags. LOL I ordered the stock (Ruger Backpacker) and the Ruger optics mount. LGS said the gun will be in stock in 10 days. I said I would come up there and put a deposit on it. They were ok with just my name and phone number (I've bought enough from them.. hopefully they don't screw me). Only thing left (for now) is the optic. But yeah, I agree.. most stuff is sold out or selling at a ransom price. I do want a different charging handle and mag release... but not high on the list at this point.

Ended up ordering a Sig Romeo 4DR. Should be here first week of May.

Ended up selling the VP9SK to a coworker last night. It was a great gun I just have a hard time concealing a double stack unless I'm wearing a jacket which I never wear. Picked this up today to replace it.called probably 20 different places and found an Academy that had one left. Luckily I was able to get there before someone else got it.

damn it.. called up the LGS to see when that 10/22 take-down would arrive. She said, it just came in the door. I asked "its the heavy barrel right? You said it was threaded for a suppressor". She gives me the part number. Nope. They have a thin barrel that's also threaded. Not the right one. Good news is they can get it. I'll go pay for it tomorrow and it will take a week or 2 to come in. Oh well. Give me time to research triggers a little more.

Ordered a Fair Chase IWB holster from 1791 Gunleather. Made of whitetail deer skin so its softer and more flexible than traditional leather. I havent been a fan of the Kydex holsters I've had so figured I'd try something different.

I'll reassess the situation on my next day off which is like May 5th or something. If it still seems like a good idea then, I'll check them out. They're cheaper than I thought. I can get the OSP/threaded for $599. I thought they were quite a bit more than that.
