I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday (@ someones birthday party) and he said he bought a new gun. STI Staccato XC. He sent me pics as we were not at his house. I can't wait until ranges open back up. This thing is badass!!

The price is off the charts. You could buy 3 very nice guns for the cost of it.
Once you handle it, you'll understand why it costs that much and you won't care about those other 3 guns. You'll probably end up wanting to sell all your other pistols so you can buy one. Ask me how I know
STI is in Georgetown, you should drop by and take a look at their showroom. STI Internantional, 114 Halmar Cove, Georgetown, TX 78628 I played with STI's competition race gun at the NRA shot show and it was the best pistol I've ever held in my hand. However, I have heard that Infinity 2011's are EVEN nicer than STI's so I still want to finger fuck and shoot an Infinity 2011.
If I were to carry a 2011 for personal defense I would probably drive up to Dallas and custom order a Triarc 2011 in person at their shop. These were designed to run dirty (they drop their pistols in the dirt and mud when showing them to people). So I wouldn't care if I scratched it or had to give it up to the police after using it in self defense (although it would still hurt my wallet a bit!).

No complaints here. Best looking art Ive ever bought. Fit and finish is superb. That makes me wonder if I had spent the extra $800 for their really polished up version - would it be magical? I mean compared to my other firearms the fit and finish is not even close and I just got the basic version.
Maybe someday sooner than later Ill see how good I am with it. Putting together a summer camp/kayak/pew pew trip now w/some buddy's
