No complaints here. Best looking art Ive ever bought. Fit and finish is superb. That makes me wonder if I had spent the extra $800 for their really polished up version - would it be magical? I mean compared to my other firearms the fit and finish is not even close and I just got the basic version.

Maybe someday sooner than later Ill see how good I am with it. Putting together a summer camp/kayak/pew pew trip now w/some buddy's
Their fully polished version is just presentation grade. It doesn't have anything to do with inside the firearm (where the upper receiver meets the Bolt Carrier Group) or the function of the rifle. It just makes the barrel and brake look like one machined piece of steel (my buddies JP rifle has the presentation grade finish). It's great if you never plan on changing the muzzle device.

Negative. Just art as of now. Soon. Very soon. Got plenty of mags and ammo.

Typical NJ using whatever reasons they can to limit our 2A rights....If golf courses can open, gun ranges should be too, group says in lawsuit against N.J.

I could go to my secret NY free public range but then I need to quarantine for 2 weeks lol

I'm pinned and welded to get to 16" and even w/o the presentation grade the transition on the break is seamless. You can tell slightly where the pin's weld is but only if you know what you are looking for.

I did get a laugh when I heard a guy asked them for a new barrel or to cut off his break and swap it out, cant remember for sure where I heard it - he had no idea the break was threaded because the transition was machined so good. Could f been a story you told for all I remember.....but it made me chuckle to know it was done with such precision

I do know when my buddy got his JP in, we were scratching our heads for a bit wondering if the barrel and muzzle brake were one piece lol

I just remembered - it's a video JP put out on the tube...customer was going to send back the rifle for a new muzzle break then they told him it was threaded and he was amazed. Forget what video and they have been putting out a TON recently

Well I thought I was done with my 10/22 take-down but I guess I'm not. Ordered a Kidd bolt with hardened extractor and firing pin, got it in black. Also ordered different sling mounts. Ordered the Magpul type 1 and type 2, this way there will be sling mounts on each side. Oh and I did find a cheap smaller case for it. I just wanted something.

Also did this. Pelican 1040 holds 10 10 rnd 10/22 mags perfectly.

Drank too much yesterday and ordered some more Okay Industries mags. Can't ever have enough 30 round mags.

Also ordered a 100 count bag of 10 round stripper clips that I can pre-load so it takes less time for to load mags when I'm at the range.

Unless Pelican changed the design of the 1040 do not plan on them being waterproof. Got the same model a couple years ago for kayaking and lets just say I no longer take it kayaking.

Then I switch to a otterbox that was "waterproof" and it's not waterproof either. To date Ive yet to find any dry box that works as good as a dry bag, but I'm submerging stuff that needs to stay 100% dry and burn when I put a lighter to it (Cigs) so any sort of leakage is no good.

It states its waterproof for 1 meter for 30 minutes. But I am not taking it kayaking. It will be fine, main thing is to keep them organized and not bouncing around somewhere.

Thats what I figured but had to warn you just in case. Everyone seems to be cutting costs and doing their gaskets that way so the body and gasket is 1 pc. Great idea for production efficiency not so good for water tight. My (2) leaky otterbox's have the same exact design as my leaky Pelican. To date the only dry box I have that stays dry is from Walmart that cost me $7 a decade ago...lol figures.

So I took the new 10/22 and a few other fishing poles down to the creek bottom at the farm on Sunday. Man that thing shot very nice! I mean real nice. But, I am going to replace the Sig Romeo 4 DR optic. Its great, no complaints. But I think I want a Holosun. So I ordered a Holosun HS510C. Has the same optic style which I really like. But its a smaller size... at least it seems to be. The Romeo 4DR will find its new home on my Sig M400.

And this just to prove this guy is a whiny liberal gash. What is it like to fire an AR-15? It’s horrifying, menacing and very very loud

A 10 year old doing it.

If you ask nicely I bet she would share a few tips around proper sight alignment, grip, and trigger control.

She was surprised when I put 30 rounds in the magazine. Normally I only put 5 or so.

I guess I kept the OCD/paranoia from my days of being a law breaker, but my eyes are always on my mirrors. I took a right when I needed to go left today just so the car that was behind me for what seemed to be too long did not follow me into my development.

Ive also been known to go around a circle more than once to see if anyone stays behind me for both trips around - learned that from a FBI informant lol

Thats why I don't care if my house looks like crap from the front. No one needs to know it's filled with $$ items

This has been going on forever sadly. That's why I go straight to the range or straight home. I don't get out of truck at all and make sure at least one gun is loaded and up front with me just in case.

We can get arrested if we don't do that regarding strait there and back. No stops allowed, not even to piss or get gas.

Also get something like 5 years min mand for the loaded up front lol

Everyone's 2A defenseless here sadly, but I'm working on that slowly w/progress.
