Got my cheap case for the take-down. I must say, I like it. Not the greatest by any means, but for the price it was right. Also got the Kidd bolt installed, its a piece of art, night and day better finish than the stock unit.

Well I thought I was done with my 10/22 take-down but I guess I'm not. Ordered a Kidd bolt with hardened extractor and firing pin, got it in black. Also ordered different sling mounts. Ordered the Magpul type 1 and type 2, this way there will be sling mounts on each side. Oh and I did find a cheap smaller case for it. I just wanted something.

Send me all the parts that you aren't using. I bet I could make just about a complete gun from them.

I'm gonna turn those parts back into the original. I've decided I'm now building the Un-Ruger 10/22, not one Ruger part on it. lol Just need to replace the receiver (Brownells sells a stripped one) and a barrel (thinking carbon Volquartzen).

Ordered this FX Dreamline Compact-Tactical from Utah air guns in .22 cal. They finally got them back in stock from Sweden. This will be a nice backpack airgun that I can use for pests and target practice.

I got a 1/2" x 20 to 1/2" x 28 thread adapter for it so I can use my .22 suppressor (it really needs a suppressor or moderator because of the short barrel). Threw a shitty Vortex red dot on top that I had lying around and shot it for 10 minutes yesterday before I had to get my kiddo.

This is the first 10 shots out of it. 5 shots of the Diablo Heavy .22 pellets and 5 shots of the Diablo Jumbo .22 pellets at ~25 ish yards. Not a bad group for the air tank being low on air and the shitty blooming red dot.

For the time being, I need to research scopes for it and order some different parts for it as well to get the pellet gun where I want it. I didn't have enough time or air to dial it in yesterday. I'll probably play around with it this weekend to see what it's really capable of.

EDIT: I forgot to add that this Dreamline series is fully modular. I can swap out barrels pretty easily to shoot longer barrels or shoot .17cal, .25 cal, or even arrows. So I can archery hunt with this gun if I want to. I can swap out buttstocks, grips, air tanks etc...You can make this a sniper rifle (long barrel), put it in a bullpup chassis or have it small and compact like it is now. FX has really knocked it out of the park with this "Dreamline" design.

That too as well. But I consider that a good group for low air, shitty blooming red dot and me being in a rush to get some rounds downrange before I had to get my kiddo lol

Nice! Ive been wanting one of the nice air rifles for a while now.

it always cracks me up when people look down on air rifles. they see the small .177 rounds and think they are useless. whenever I am plinking I remind them that the round is 1/2 the size of a 9mm and to treat it just like a firearm. 4.5mm ain't no joke going 1,000fps or in your case even larger caliber. Whats the fps on that bad boy? prob faster than a normal .22 load round.

Local guy just got put away last night for killing his GF with a .177 cal. Heroin heads and he shot her in the abdomen then she bled out internally

Heck of a cartridge that I have somehow never owned a rifle chambered in. Will have to fix that.

First time I heard of it was years ago down at Jason's ranch in Freer and he had one. Its a tack driver for sure and fun to shoot. Another one that I love is the .204. I traded off mine to Drew and regretted it, but never replaced it.

I've never shot an HMR but my dad has its little brother the HM2. Which is basically just a .22LR so I dont know why he got it. I'd like to pick up an HMR. Probably when my nephew gets old enough to shoot.

Ive always wanted one. Never shot one but watched my old boss shoot a hole through a squirrel and our roof of our warehouse when they first came out with it many years ago. Suckers are loud inside lol

same boss would drop a sheet of glass on the cutting table then clean it and gut deer over it while they hung from the forklift.

Yeah they are way louder then a .22. I saw a doe that got dropped by one from prob 50yrds. Her head was like mush. lol

In an effort to be more "environmentally friendly" I will no longer be offering double taps for threats within 20 yards. They will get one well placed shot and then stabbed till cooperative. This will reduce my ammo usage which will cut back on unnecessary lead exposure for "other people". California has found that lead exposure can cause cancer and leads to death. This way they will not die from cancer.
