What??? An AK design failing in mud? No way...that would never happen! I heard from my granpappy's brother's cousin's uncle that the Viet Cong buried an AK for 15 years during the great war with India, took it out of the ground and it fired every time without cleaning or oiling!

I had looked at that one. Might be a little tight but it would most likely fit. But I wasn't a fan of the bright red lettering. Not bad, just not for this gun.

Oh and I made one step further in creation of the Un-Ruger 10/22 take-down. Ordered a Tac Sol black bull barrel for it. Was looking at the Volquartsen one with the optic mount and wrapped in carbon fiber. Very nice but very $$ and I didn't need the optic mount. So I saved $70 and went TacSol. Need to go to the LGS and order a stripped upper from Brownells for it and then it will be the Un-Ruger 10/22 take-down as zero parts are from Ruger.

A good black die marker would take care of all that red in 5 min. I have died all kinds of stitching and fabrics over the years. On hats, bags, etc. Ill buy something expensive with a weird thread color in neon green or blue just because it will be 30%-60% less than "murdered out black" then just die it all black. 60% of my hats have died black logo's. Used to use sharpie permanent markers but they turn your skin grey and it doesn't last long

Very nice... I am just looking for something to put it in. Something very tight to it. Something I can put it in, then stuff that under the rear seat and not worry about getting scratched or rubbed on. I think the one I got will work for now. I have a few Maxpedition and some other backpacks I can put it in and it will fit. I have this one and I have test fitted it.

Yeah Vertx was the only one my tired brain could remember last night and that's because they sponsor every gun channel on Youtube.

I use a Triple Aught Design Axiom backpack everyday. It's just a hair too small for 300BO pistol but I could make it work if I had too. It's holds my G19 with a suppressor just fine though.
