That might be the only thing I recommend is a smaller tent, easier to put up and take down and smaller footprint We'll be setting up 3 different camps. Last year we had to setup camp in the middle of the trail and space was limited.

So you're saying there's a chance!
I'll look into it, but worst case I'll sleep in the jeep or fold a tarp over my sleeping bag (0-deg). Haven't decided wether to bring the trailer or not. Since it's just me in the jeep right now (I invited Cory) probably not.

Tent cot ftw. Just takes up some space to haul it.

I agree, if you leave it zipped up it doesn't breath. But I leave a side open. No issues other than its big. I also have that new tent cot style that I brought to Hidden Falls last time. I loved it. It used an army style cot and a Nemo Switch on top of it. Worked awesome. Switch can also be used on the ground if need be.

If I get one it will be a $30 POS from academy/Wally world that I waterproof the hell out of.

Lyndall is right about the condensation building up. I was much more comfortable in my little tent the other nights. Took up less room and it had more room inside than the tent cot.

Still over here like  waiting to see if I have to work the night of the 1st. Getting some mixed answers at work. Should know for sure by the end of next week.

Ok Blake, let me know.

List so far is myself, Kendal, greenseggsnspam (David from TW +1) and and potentially James (another Jeep). It'll be dutch oven central with this crew, so I think we'll be eating well.

I got the Craftsman 50cc 20" for the same price as the 46cc 18". Not quite lumberjack size, but I didn't really "need" either. I've only "needed" a chainsaw once in the last year and it was in the Ouachita National Forest.

I have a 16" sthil saw now. I bought it just to cut down a tree. I can bring it if I come.
