I don't think they will invert.......it droops for days........I tried all day yesterday to completely flex it out, couldn't do it......need rougher trails. lol.....man I wish Mountain City was open!

Same with mine. I have yet to hit bump stops or lift a tire. The front is another story.

x2. The way these axles move with travel on these trucks, you REALLY have to fuck up shackle angle to get an inversion. The first force upon uptravel is going to be rearward and upward on a line well below the shackle bushing mounted to the frame. I'm not gonna run the numbers, but you'd have to be SUPER far forward at full droop to get an inversion.

That said, welding in some stops to prevent an inversion would be pretty easy I'd think.

Sounds right. The only inversion I've ever seen was an LT setup the had an upward mounted shackle

Agreed. But that's the definate limit...

The 8.4 third s good for much larger tires maybe even 40s the problem is with the housings they are pretty weak and flex a good bit in stock form a fabbed housing would solve this

I may just leave it. Truck feels great on the trail and hwy. Less "springy" than it was before.

Noticed that too. Forward angled shackles increase spring rate a bit, it definitely firmed up the ass end.

Between the Dakars, the shackle flip, and the 700lbers up front, I'm riding a bit stiff right now. Looking forward to getting this shock relocate done in a couple weeks so I can flex the shit around some on a trail and break it in a bit.

Think this would invert? lol

So much fail.
