Reid Racing D60 knuckles, all new ARP steering studs and new Spicer spindle studs, new KP upper seals, inner axle seals and a set of Solid Industries 35 spline drive flanges. Also ordered a pound of red wrinkle powder to coat the new knuckles. I dislike orange especially on my truck.
Lowering the suspension is next on the list.
I’ve been collecting the last of my parts for the Propane/turbo. Gonna see how bad I can make this 4 banger squeal.
I have been playing with the spring rates a little on the truck
On the rear I went from 100/150 to 80/100. Combined Spring rate change from 60 lbs to 44lbs. Lowered the rear about 2 inches and seems to be working well.
Finally add the limit straps that were sitting on the shelf.
The front will get addressed this weekend. currently 150/225 and going to 150/175. Combined Spring rate change from 90 lbs to 80 lbs.
Gonna test it out next weekend at Wolf Caves and try to follow some buggies around.
Not really sure yet. More than likely turbo propane when I get around to it. Not ready to go down the the buggy wormhole/investment. Really want a ddish yota to tool around in and keep some miles off the tow rig. I’m going to keep the 5.3 for now and get all the goodies installed. Probably going to sell the SD axles to make some room.
