Try not to be "that" Veteran.

Be glad that you were lucky enough to serve with and know those men and women. While I mourn the loss of my friends I try to celebrate their life and live a life that honors their sacrifice. I do not succeed every day; but thankfully I can try again because I most likely have a tomorrow.

Figure of speech/action.

yeah that’s what some would like do, but that’s definitely not what I would do, I would like too, but the repercussions out way the actions, lol

I was quoted for APR 2.625%, for a 30 year Refinance VA IRRRL, and I have 800+ credit

closing cost ~ $3k to &3.5k

screen shot of the contact that I’m working with, very knowledgeable.

I'll give him a call tomorrow. We also have 800+ and are currently at 3.5%. We'll see what the numbers look like.

Is that deal for only Veterans?

yes.

Those with VA loans have opportunities with VA IRRRL, basically if you want to Refi, the APR has to be .5 or better than your current rate and you can’t take equity out.

He will run the numbers without having to ding your credit, I think interest rates are also based off the debt-to-income ratio as well, we only have house debt.

Military Veterans with VA ratings need to regularly check their state benefits.

Texas takes care of Veterans, especially when it comes to property taxes is one example.

Property Tax Exemptions | Office of the Texas Governor | Greg Abbott

In Texas, veterans with a disability rating of:
  • 100% are exempt from all property taxes
  • 70 to 100% receive a $12,000 property tax exemption
  • 50 to 69% receive a $10,000 property tax exemption
  • 30 to 49% receive a $7,500 property tax exemption
  • 10 to 29% receive a $5,000 property tax exemption

Didn't know which other thread to post these pics in. These are the pics of the Toyota that the US SOF guys were driving in Niger when they were ambushed and killed. The footage from the fight on of the guys cameras was posted online and went viral.

Forgot to mention, but soon as you get the the full estimate with all those disclosures, you can shop around at title companies near you, that is the bulk of the cost of doing a Refi like this.

I'm not complaining. Gonna save some $$, actually gonna keep paying the same amount and pay it off sooner. Thanks for the info.

Us too, probably won’t pay it off, if we plan on moving after boys finish HS, 5 years ish, but I’m leaning on turning the 3 car into an apartment, a lot more money to make off that sq foot vs it being a garage.

2.75% for me, which is still 1.5% less than I had...

That’s still awesome in 1.5 drop, just continue to pay note as before and refi break even will be like 14months, who did you go through? Tyler?

No service stripe so either didn't update his uniform when he got out or is still in. If he is still in he better hope like hell nobody identifies him.
