If you enjoy Ebonics and slurred speech you might like it. As far as fight movies go - stick to Rocky ~ It is better IMO and pretty much the same exact plot.

Little one and boss lady are/were watching ET in the bedroom. Awesome movie. I need to watch it again.
It is great to see a good mix of actual pistol/ carbine techniques mixed with a variety of MMA hand-to-hand martial arts to make the antagonist a lethal threat. I also like that Reeves is a legit 3 gun shooter.

Going to break a rule and go see a movie on the opening weekend. I do not think there will be a large crowd for 12 Strong at 10:30am though. I am reading the book but wanted to catch the movie as well. The movie has been poorly reviewed by many left leaning sources as being cliche and making the soldiers look like heroes - good enough of a review for me.

Glad I went to see 12 Strong. It is a pretty well done military movie without politics. It is just the team and the problem. It does a good job showcasing the Teams and their silent professionalism.
Really? I remember the trailer as a bunch of dudes riding horseback into RPG's...
Well that was part of the gig for that group of guys. I was referring to the "silent professionalism" in terms to how they work and came home. No fan fair, no parades, just more work to shoulder into to.
