or in another year when my cable contract is done Ill cut the cord completely. Maybe by then Amazon will have added some actual content besides a random good movie or series.
For $110 a year to get videos, TV shows, 2-day shipping, photo hosting, streaming music, etc...it's not a bad deal.

If you use it all I agree. Sadly I'm just not into their content or any of their services & usually don't need items in a rush. Jack Ryan, The boys, and some car shows is all Ive watched.
Lately Ive been going down the youtube rabbit hole. Finding it much more entertaining to learn things on there vs watching fictional shows on the boob tube. Pretty sure Ive watched everything AVE has ever posted including his engineering rants
Guess as I get older I'm changing. Used to use TV as an escape. Now looking to turn that addiction into a tool so when I'm sitting there at least I'm gaining useful knowledge.

I'm already missing it. Mostly for the music streaming. I know theres other services, but I highly prefer Amazon's. I enjoyed Prime for the $50 a year I was paying. But once I lost my student discount, i didnt feel it was worth it. Trying to convince my mom to pay for it and let me mooch. She used mine for years while I paid for it. My sister too. It's time for one of them to step up and pay.

For $50 I'd be all over it. Maybe I need to cancel it then shop around instead of just auto-renewing like the sheep Ive become. I know there are deals - just never took the time to look for them.

They have to have a season 2.... That was a great show for Amazon IMHO and seemed like everything was class A work.
I hate all the freaking B class movies & series that are flooding the web content providers. Crappy content produced and directed by ex-porn people sucks - might as well just burn that money IMHO cause Ill never watch that crap. The only things Ill watch that have piss poor cinematography is war films and documentaries.
I watched this last night and it got me thinking...... I knew most of this crap was going on, just not at the extent it was. Seems like a great tact for winning or getting your way.
The US needs to get it's head out of it's ass concerning content.
