Watched "The Outpost" tonight, I had bought it about a month ago on Bluray, its now also available on Netflix or Prime.. don't recall which. But it was awesome, we watched the Bluray. Anyhow, watch it until the very end. Had interviews with the guys who played themselves in the movie.

Watched Borat on Prime last night. It was meh. Had some funny scenes but a lot of it was just cringey.

Re-watched George Carlin's "You are all diseased" from 1999 last night on Prime. Don't think I had seen it since it came out.

Holy crap would that guy get "canceled" if it were to air today. He pretty much made fun of everything and would piss off 99% of the snowflakes today. The airport security and germs had me rolling then he just doubled down and blasted pretty much everything.

and while I do not agree with everything - I can find humor in looking into the mirror even when he is making fun of me

when he starts out telling the audience to go f*ck themselves - it pretty much gives away why he titles it what he did

BTW - mean to tell you that you saved me $$ w/o knowing. Before I canceled my account with Comcast I checked to see how many movies I had purchased digitally and would lose.

Bought none in 2020 and 4 in 2019.....mostly due to seeing you get actual bluerays over the years. Seeing you do that smartened me up because I knew I wanted to cut the cord eventually.

I used to actually buy them when they came out....until I got lazy and stopped going to the store.

I bought 46 since they started selling them digitally and lord knows how many rentals. Just the 'purchased' digital movies cost me an approx. loss of $920 @ $20 per.

Never again will I buy anything digital from any site. What a waste of cash. Sure digital is easy.....thats the point. In hindsight, boy was I a sucker

So Ill be ready to move to Alaska sooner than later once I get a good collection going again lol

Used book stores have a plethora of used blue rays and DVD's for cheap usually.

I bought the Hobbit Blueray set awhile back because it was $40 versus ~$50+ to buy it digitally.

Good idea. I also need to dust off my old redbox account if they are still in the bizz

going back to the days of my childhood when movie night actually meant something because you didn't watch them every night like people do now. already fining myself playing chess/checkers/other stimulating games vs watching mind mush programming

Our movie room is closed unless we are watching a movie... when the movie is over, GTFO! Then I power it all down and shut the doors until next time. I can tell when someone has gone in there because the vacuum cleaner lines in the carpet are disrupted. lol

Apparently there is a market for Pierce Brosnan and it's the free youtube movies where he is "acting" as a bad guy if thats what you call it.

Ill have to look into it more but youtube literally blurred out a part of a scene where a guy held up his middle finger. I never took notice but if everything is dumbed down to PG thats going to be a problem if they want me to be a paying customer.
