Looks like I'll be towing the Dilux with My 4 banger. Are those street tires in pretty decent shape? might put them on the Taco before I tow home. That should definitely give me the deeper gearing to get 'er home.

Yeah they are, I would suggest bringing a air tank for the KM's, seems like one of the rims has a small leak at the bead. I will bring a full air tank too and fill them up way full before I leave tomorrow. I cranked the beast up and took it for a spin down the road to blow the cobwebs out, I'm hopping Rob still remembers how to adjust that over complicated toyota carb, its running good but just a little rich.

well, im not coming. the new training supervisor (read female) decided that all the 3 levels (trainies) are to work 6-1s for the training if she deems it necessary... this is also the woman that failed trainies out of the career field because they got into a car accident on a chow run, and the trainie's husband decided that the trainie shouldnt go on anymore.

yup, my life now sucks, no traffic but i am now working 6 days five of which are 10 hour shifts. before you start to bitch at me, i make 20k a year total, yes i get free healthcare but damn it all.

Well, it's Friday morning and I am stoked! My truck was making the worst noise I have ever heard on a car. It was so loud, I was embarrassed to be driving it and my Teeth were grinding while listening to it. Isolated it to the AC belt system, tried the pulley first.. nope still there, so took apart the Compressor clutch and it looked like taking apart an old brake drum. Wow.. Turns out the clutch rebuild kit is 130$!! from oreilly's.. needless to say, I just cut the belt for this meet.

Tightened my stabilizer bar after feeling like an idiot. it was dark the other night when it was "just spining".. turns out there is an Allen head in the tip to hold it steady while you tighten it. Yeah, Yeah.. I didn't know that. Toyota's are awesome. It's purring this morning, and all my old suspension creaks are gone with the new Lower Ball joints.. Damn, it feels tight like a new car! Now I need to get 4.88 gears and get them put in, tired of getting passed...
