HOAX DENIER
You could put a 'Heater' on a CB (amplifyier) but my thoughts are why when a HAM is great replacement without the hassle.

I'd never add one, but my buddy has one. It's annoying when he talks over everyone.

I did have mine peaked and tuned by the same guy, but only for the max allowed by my CB's output. Maybe slightly illegal , but no heater. Same guys is local towns emergency communications manager. It wasn't until he Peaked & tuned my set up that I actually got good range. Prior to him giving me advise my set up was lacking. I had 2 4' firestick antennas in the bed, then changed to 2 up front, then 1 up front and 1 behind. He had me rip out all 30' of cheap duel cable I had installed and replace it with one short highly insulated cable and ditch the fire stick for a 102" whip. Should of implemented KISS in my first design and I would of saved a ton of time & $$.

Is this the same trail? I've read that High Water Mark Trail is also referenced as Ozark Overland Trail.

This isn't the High Water Mark Trail which has also been called the Ozark Overland Trail. The real Ozark Overland Trail is over 400 miles long and goes from Jasper, over the St. Joe, down near Hector and then all the over past Fayetteville. This trip only covered the western half of the trail from HWY 7 north of Dover to the Pig Trail at Cass. There was a great section of trail west of Cass that we didn't have time to run.

This is in the same area. It looks a good bit more technical that what we ran but it looks a lot more fun. Got more info or routes?

I have yet to spot an AR black bear for as much time we have spent up there.
