Not sure if any of you have seen this, but apparently there's a group from Houston planning this trip in September...Using a photo from our trip last year! Seems like since we posted about this trip last year, everyone and their grandma are organizing groups to do it.

Postponed for a year for other family members.

Guys, I have some news.
It is with a very heavy heart that I am going to have to back out of this trip. The opportunity came up for me to do a semester abroad at the University of Newcastle, Australia. After this coming fall semester I will be too close to graduating and a semester abroad wouldn't be worth anything in terms of credits. It's now or never. I feel I would be foolish to give up three months in the land down under during a time in my life when I have no wife, kids, house or bills. That being said, I intend to watch this forum like a hawk for photos and videos. It was a difficult decision for me to give up one of my remaining two fall seasons in Arkansas, but I think it will be worth it. After my semester abroad, I will only have one more fall and one more spring here at the U of A. This trip last year was without a doubt the highlight of my year. It was by far the most fun I've ever had camping and I was lucky to go with a great group of guys. I hope whoever fills my place will have the same experience I did. Maybe I'll be able to go camping in Australia with all the deadly creatures...That sounds exciting!

Arkansas or Australia? Australia every time. That is an awesome opportunity to go study overseas in a country that likes the USA. I am looking forward to the pics you post while being over there.

Honestly, that marriage will not last if that's the reason. If they are getting married, their focus should be on each other and what makes them happy, no one else and not focusing who is able to make it, regardless if it is other family members. SMH, millennials

Sweet, I did a study aboard in Costa Rica for 3 weeks I could have stayed much longer, but I did have a family and 2 boys and work.
Just been easier saying 'hell Im out of this trip, headed to Australia instead'
