Oh wow that sucks. I know a VP of Marketing. I'm going to pester her next time I see her. But it makes sense. Every region has it's own norms. Thats why the Federal Gubbint should only deal with interstate commerce and protecting our borders. The problem is, every state wants to out game the other for fed funds. Wait! Did I just go there? lol

Yea, you and Chris4x4 both get way better options for premier than we do over here. At least that was the case a few years ago when I did some research when the motor first started making me worry.

Surly beats using the Kabota. Pretty sure I have no plans for the next month.

This past weekend was my last planned camping trip. Holy crap can little kids wear you out, especially when they aren't yours. Weather was spectacular. I can't remember the last time I was swimming in October. Wading river was too low to yak - had to yak Oswego lake and we did 1/2 of the Oswego river.

Sadly the only parts I've bought in months go to slingshots...

it's been off the road for so long I have a 2" stack of recall paperwork for when it gets back on the road.....when I do fix it then Toyota will have it for 6 months fixing all the crap and frame lol

That's Mr Asshole to you
You need to find some motivation. Or just pay a shop to swap that motor for you.

Drag it to Toyota first. Then fix your part. lol

Drag it to Toyota and then go back and ask what they did to the motor? It’s broken!! How?

Sort of......"Supposed" to start taking the old engine out this coming weekend and that's what I found when I did some preliminary lubricating so the bolts actually turn when we apply torque to them lol

After work starting today going to start stripping her down so she's ready to go on Saturday. Doubtful we will take her apart in the rain though and of course this weekend is all rain as of now.

The motivator is the house and needing long materials to fix it up. Can't procure materials in a subi and I don't like this boss so not even going to ask to borrow one of our fleet trucks. Less favors I owe the better.

wish us luck..no idea what I'm getting into and I know I'm over my head. Slow and steady will hopefully win the race. Perfect time for a flash flood watch today lol

6 bolts away from getting the engine out......(torque converter). Everything else is done including the bolts from the block to tranny I may finger tighten a couple when braking the TC loose.
