*Later in 2012 compression is down and #6 is scorn.
*Limp the truck around locally waiting for her to pop.
*April 2013 acquire used engine from a dead president
*July 2015 on my way to a campsite for a weekend trip she lets go. Limp her home and park it in the backyard.
*June 2018 Kyle helps me get started on resuscitating the unicorn in the same spot she sat in for 3 years.

Must have called him 20-30 times. Called last weekend unanswered. Called this weekend and he said he was busy trying to sell another engine he just took out of a friends truck and sent me a pic of it on his tractor. I found that very amusing. Offers to help online in forums that are hollow in reality are in fact poppycock
On the other hand a friend who has limited mechanical abilities/tools/time pushed me to have him come help so he didn't need to hit the trails solo. Props to him for driving 4+ hrs and putting in almost 20hrs helping & BS'ing this weekend. His ball busting and help is the only reason she's starting chemo. I said screw last weekend because of rain - he called me a pussy and said he would be at my door

The best thing about this post is thinking about all of the dents and scratches you didn't get wheeling it for all of those years. Think about it, you probably have half of the testosterone now!
I only got one dent in 94k and that's one a buddy spotted me into. Been very lucky.
Only a vid of it running one last time before I shut it down. Tried to upload it last night, but forumn doesn't like windows and I don't use boobtoob (Utube).
Nah..... just happened the same weekend it hit us. Got kicked out of Ocean City, MD because of it. Spent next week sleeping in it at my moms marina keeping an eye on the docks and boats. If I had left it in the street she would of floated away. Instead I parked in on top of a raised deck to save it. Hindsight being 20/20 not sure I would of saved her.
