I think it will max out at medium sized mice; but will inhale crickets, meal worms, and large roaches. My sammich maker said no monitors bigger than her, that would eat her cats, or required their own room in the house.

I recently read about the "Echo Boomers" are more interested in owning exotic animals for pets than having kids of thier own, pretty funny after reading these posts, and coincidental timing of events.

My initial choice was a little smaller than the pictured komodo dragon. Sammich maker said hell no to that and dictated that the lizard had to be smaller than her and not capable of eating her cats. Those regulations quickly narrowed down the list to pygmy monitors.
